One of our customers just emailed us this link to a post on canadianbride.com posted by another of our customers about her garter that she purchased from us.

We’re always thrilled to hear about our happy customers!

Ding (3/5/2009)

WOW…I love your garter! Very Pretty!

Do you mind if I ask where you ordered it from?

I bought it from www.mystylishwedding.com
It didn’t take long for me to get it either. I can’t remember exactly how long, but it was less than a week (coming from Calgary, I think?) I’m in Ontario.

It’s a Canadian website. They even randomly sent ME a handwritten thank you card for buying from them. I thought that was a really nice touch, especially since it wasn’t just a generic typed card that everyone would get. It was really thoughtful!

Add a touch of Damask

February 9th, 2009

Damask is all the rage this year and the good news is that you don’t have the have a bottomless bank account to add a touch of damask to your wedding.  Just a few touches here and there can take your wedding from ordinary to extraordinary.  We just love these favour boxes and guest books because they are vary fashion forward and allow you to inject pops of colour!

These things are the GREATEST thing EVER for outdoor ceremonies & receptions. They’re so clever and they work so well. I can’t tell you how many brides we’ve had over the years walk down the aisle completely off balance trying to keep their heels from sinking into the grass. Even weddings inside a tent can be precarious if it rained recently - you can have 100 cranky women at your wedding because they keep sticking in the grass - not to mention the potential for blemishing those new Manolos!

A definite MUST HAVE for all brides & bridesmaids if the ceremony or reception will be outside on either grass or gravel. If it fits in your budget it is such a thoughtful & memorable gesture to pass them out to your female guests as they arrive - but at the very least you can make sure your bridal party is prepared to strut their stuff & you will make a sensational (and steady) entrance.

Those girls at Sole Mates sure are clever!

Love those julep cups!!!!!

January 9th, 2009

We absolutely LOVE these silver plated julep cups from the Mindy Weiss collection.  Traditionally used to serve the Southern mint julep cocktail, you can fill them with flowers and either place them at each guests setting or cluster them at the center of the table to make a striking centerpiece.

They look beautiful even without flowers.  I was so excited when they arrived that I bought two for my desk.  I use the large cup as a pencil holder and the small cup for my paper clips.

Thank you!!

January 9th, 2009

I just wanted to say a huge thanks for everything you have done for me. When I found the invitations I wanted and I couldn’t afford to buy them you took the time out of your Christmas time off and designed and made them for me. The finished product was a million times better then the originals and about 70% cheaper. I do want to say thanks again for everything. I showed them to my mom and to Drew and they both loved them as well. Thanks a million times again. All the best to you and again thanks so much for everything!!!
