{ black + white vintage }

Wednesday, May 16th, 2012

Our graphic designer has been working on a black & white seating chart for a customer. She’s having her wedding in a loft: ceremony on the terrace, dinner in the loft. She’s incorporating vintage & modern. Shabby chic with a touch of clean…love it!

Candy Buffet Anyone?

Friday, September 11th, 2009

Candy buffets have been all the rage this year, rather than going with traditional favours placed at each guests setting.  If you’re thinking of having one at your wedding we have THE CUTEST glassine lined bags to hold the loot!  They come in 8 different colours so you can mix and match them to coordinate with your wedding colours.  By choosing a contrasting design and print colours you can create a truly custom favour bag.  glassine-bags

Keep Organized with Mindy Weiss

Thursday, May 28th, 2009

Congratulations, you’re getting married! From here on out, it’s going to be a whirlwind of activity so to help, we’ve gathered some useful tips to keep you organized up until your big day.

So, you’ve already gone out and bought all the bridal magazines you can find, and have started to form ideas about what you like and what you don’t like. To help, Mindy Weiss has the fabulous Unforgettable Sticky Notes Booklet to mark all those pages in your new magazines. The best part about the tabs is the little sayings; “I Do”, “Must Have”, “Maybe”, “Perfect”, and “Unforgettable”! It also comes with the sought after “Sometimes Brides Forget” sticky notes.

Once you have decided which direction you are headed for your wedding, don’t forget the Ultimate Wedding Organizer! It has all the checklists you could ever want or need to plan the perfect day. When folded, it has a clasp to keep it together and a handle to tote around with you when meeting with various vendors.

Last but not least, you need something to carry your notes, organizer, and all those lovely bridal items you’ve acquired at bridal fairs and expos. Everyone will be wondering where you got your amazing new Keep It Together Tote, and why they hadn’t thought of it first!

Here’s to you to making the perfect day happen!

Happy Earth Day!

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

It doesn’t have to be Earth Day for us to think about making less of an impact on our environment.  Here are some of the tips that will help make your wedding green:

1) Use green invitations.  Believe me the quality of recycled paper has come a long way from the 80’s.  This elegant invite gives you the chance to change the world one simple choice at a time.  The paper is made with 100% post-consumer fibers and created without the use of chlorine compounds.  The manufacturer uses a significant amount of renewable energy resources and responsible forest management practices.  http://www.mystylishwedding.com/store/invitations-c-1/go-green-green-seal-certified-recycled-invitation-p-813

2) Banish disposable water bottles!  Hand out these gorgeous re-usable water bottles as favours instead.  These sturdy metal bottles can be personalized any way you like and will help encourage your guest to kick the plastic habit as well!  These were a good example of a customer asking us for something specific that we didn’t have on our site but we sourced them!  Send us an email if you would like us to do the same for you.

3) Use a beautiful seating chart instead of placecards.  We love seating charts because they don’t waste all that cardstock and are made using post-consumer material.  The best part is that they are 100% customizable.  Our brides love them so much that they often hang them in their home after the wedding. http://www.mystylishwedding.com/store/wedding-day-printing-c-30/seating-charts-p-650

4) We love, love, LOVE these organic favour boxes.  Need I say more? http://www.mystylishwedding.com/store/favor-boxes-stickers-tags-c-21/organic-green-2-piece-woven-favor-boxes-p-105

Thank you!!

Friday, January 9th, 2009

I just wanted to say a huge thanks for everything you have done for me. When I found the invitations I wanted and I couldn’t afford to buy them you took the time out of your Christmas time off and designed and made them for me. The finished product was a million times better then the originals and about 70% cheaper. I do want to say thanks again for everything. I showed them to my mom and to Drew and they both loved them as well. Thanks a million times again. All the best to you and again thanks so much for everything!!!
